A completely new and revised of this book is currently being edited.

Current writing projects:

Biography of Turkish-Jewish business and petrol head Bernar Nahum. It's finished and is undergoing editing and translation by its publisher. Release details will be provided when available.

The second book written by Adrian in the Battle Cry uniform series focuses on the uniforms worn by women serving in the Soviet military and paramilitary forces from 1941 to 1991.

This book will be followed by Soviet Naval officer uniforms, 1952 to 1991 and includes; Sea qualified, Non sea qualified, Medical, Veterinarian, Justice, Administration and Political branches. KGB Naval Border Guard, Marine Infantry, Coastal Artillery and Aviation officers.

Adrian has started researching the life of his step-father who served in the Royal Army Service Corps from April 1939 to March 1946 with the intention of writing a book about Harold's war time service.

Adrian is also putting together a book with the working title "Aspects of." In this project Adrian will take 150 thoughts from the person selected as the book's star and turn them into images. He will combine the images with either his own words in the form of an explanation of what thought the image is portraying or use poetry written by his Walker family ancestors in the 19th century to achieve the same result.

Adrian is also moving back into magazine article writing. He gave this up to concentrate on his books some time ago, but new opportunities have arisen from the writing of the second Battle Cry book. New and exciting directions have been exposed.

Adrian has written a movie and musical script and a song all based on the true story of his X4 great grandparents in Ireland in 1798 during the main four week period of the rebellion. A very new experience.

Adrian is still trying to find another worthwhile automotive subject on which to write one of his telephone directory sized books.

The early days:

The Streather family was honoured at the Le Mans 24hr race, 2002, when the name of their deceased daughter Natalie L. Streather was put on the front of The Racers Group, Porsche GT-3RS. Kevin Buckler team owner and driver along with Lucas Luhr and Timo Bernhard won the GT Class and came 16th overall.

At Le Mans 2003, Gail and Adrian Streather received two custom built 1/43rd scale models of the Le Mans 2002 GT class winning TRG Porsche GT-3RS. One is finished in qualification trim and the other in full race trim. These custom built models were made just for the Streather family by "The Coyote and The Frog" (French friends of the family), in honour of Natalie Louise Streather.
